"Andheri" is the story of Anita, a live-in maid, who after years of living a quiet lonely existence, finds the courage to run away in search of a better life. She finds herself on a city bus where she meets an affable stranger. What transpires next, while a perfectly typical occurrence in this harsh big city, shakes Anita's being and calls her hopes into question.
