Born into a dangerous world of organized crime, Milana Jimenez grows up blissfully unaware of her father's rise through the cartel monarchy. When her father, Jeraldo Jimenez, contemplates starting a new life, violence and betrayal rip the family apart - leaving them in the mercy of the cartel. Following the footsteps of her father's, Milana now faces a bleak world in an attempt to save her family from a violent demise. The film explores the austere existence of organized crime within seemingly normal families, and the transformation of an innocent youth to a ruthless leader in the Desert Wasteland of the southern border.
