After four years of courting, Alyssa and Tucker are about to tie the knot. However, suddenly the usually easy going Tucker becomes obsessed with every minute detail of the wedding planning, confusing his friends and family with his high strung antics. Unbeknownst to Tucker, he has come down under the spell of his grandmother's very unique engagement ring Tucker Brennan is brilliantly working up to take over the family construction from from his widower father Mickey, who is about to retire and his an eye on widowed client Olivia. Playful lover Tucker overhears his fiancee, dentist Courtney Rydell, complain at the engagement party he isn't taking the wedding seriously enough. He now switches to efficient business mode, planning a perfect wedding into elaborate detail, marshaling everyone to the second, and volunteering to give he otherwise unavailable venue a free makeover. It's taxing for everyone, and the bride starts to feel neglected.
