Pathfinders Kevin Loring and newcomer Cameron Fraser-Monroe star in a film about finding the strength and willpower to take life to the next level.Obsessed with video games and the lavish rewards promised by a hip-hop lifestyle, Terry (Fraser-Monroe) begins to question the benefits of a formal education. One afternoon at school, fueled by the reckless influence of his peers, he resolves to drop out.Upon confronting his mother with his intentions to quit school and become a big-time rapper, Terry is sent to spend the weekend with his cousin Dave (Loring), a successful video game developer.Terry is surprised to discover that Dave understands his frustrations and encourages him to pursue his dreams. However, he seriously questions the merit of Terrys decision to eliminate his options by dropping out of school.Dave introduces Terry to an immersive new video game called Point Blank. Set in a crumbling metropolis on a world devastated by war, the game puts Terry in control of a giant, armored robot piloted by an avatar uncannily similar to himself. As Terry delves into the virtual world, Dave uses the game to illustrate, through earthshaking clashes of thunder and metal, the importance of arming oneself with the tools to face lifes challenges and the power to blow them away.
