An obsessive fan kidnaps his favorite porn star.
John, a lonesome porn addict living in the San Fernando Valley, kidnaps the famous porn star Tammy Wild. While traveling the Van Nuys porn shop world of personal video peep show booths, John believes that Tammy has asked him to rescue her. During Tammy's captivity, this damaged couple forges a tenuous relationship that eventually explodes when John loses his already fragile grip on reality. "Out of Sync" begins on the yellow brick road of porn and ends in the sacred bridal chamber of the soul.
