| 4. | | My Grandson, the Warlock | | Darrin and Samantha receive a frantic telephone call from Larry and Louise who are vacationing in London. The Tate's governess has taken ill, and they want the Stephenses to take care of Jonathan until they return from London. Darrin and Samantha are happy to do so. But Gladys, who knows that Samantha is only three months pregnant herself, sees Darrin and Samantha drive off hurriedly that evening and return two hours later with "a baby", who Gladys truly believes is the one to which Samantha would have just given birth. Based on that belief, Gladys passes information of the Stephens' new baby to a visiting Maurice. After Maurice learns from Samantha that she doesn't plan on providing any witchcraft training to her offspring, Maurice, without telling Samantha he is going to do so, takes Jonathan away to provide that training himself, he believing Jonathan being his grandson. While Samantha and Endora try to track down Maurice and Jonathan, Darrin has to stall Larry and Louise, who have just returned from London and who are anxious to see their son. Meanwhile, Maurice becomes frustrated as "his" grandson shows no signs of having powers, especially as he shows off the baby to his friends. více |

| 7. | | Trick or Treat | | Despite it being Halloween, a day when witches are demonized, Samantha refuses to go into hiding with Endora. Samantha understands that Halloween is the "worse" in the "better of worse" of her wedding vows, but she also knows that Darrin respects her and doesn't want to perpetuate the negative stereotype. But all the trust the Darrin has built with Samantha on the issue may go out the window when Larry sends Samantha some typical Halloween decorations for their small dinner party that evening with clients, Jack and Phyllis Rogers, those decorations part of Rogers' product line. Feeling like Darrin has corrupted Samantha, Endora, just prior to the dinner party and disguised as a young girl trick or treater, places a spell on Darrin slowly turning him into a werewolf. With razor and nail clippers in hand, Darrin has to try and keep up with the shaving and clipping as the rapid hair and nail growth continues while not letting on to their guests what's going on, as Samantha tries to convince a "spell forgetful" young Endora to reverse the spell. But Darrin being a werewolf on Halloween may have unintended consequences. více |

However, the fun really begins when Darrin meets Sam's lookalike cousin Serena. Unfortunately, Darrin thinks Endorra cast a spell on his daughter to cause her to age overnight and he tries to catch Serena, who he thinks is a now adult Tabitha. více |

| 21. | | Fastest Gun on Madison Avenue | | While Samantha waits for Darrin alone in a fancy restaurant, she is hit upon by an obnoxious drunk who refuses to leave her alone despite her constantly telling him to do so. Darrin, upon his arrival and seeing the situation, wants to protect his wife's honor which leads to a physical altercation with the drunk. As it looks as if Darrin is going to get beat up by his much larger adversary, Samantha decides to use witchcraft to knock out the drunk, which on-lookers believe was all Darrin's fists doing. Later in private, Darrin is humiliated that his wife fought his battle for him. However, Darrin and Samantha just want to put the incident behind them and move on. That may not be easy as the rest of the world won't leave the story alone as unknown to Samantha and Darrin at the time, the drunk is heavyweight contender Jolting Joe Kovacks. The story ends up being front page news. The front page story has three resulting outcomes. First, Kovacks, despite being truly sorry for his actions which were the result of him being intoxicated, may have lost the opportunity for the championship fight, and will need to prove to the world that he still deserves the opportunity. Second, Darrin and Samantha have to come to an understanding about what she will and will not use her witchcraft for in relation to fighting his battles. And third, others may want their shot at fighting Darrin, one in particular who has ulterior motives with regard to Kovacks. více |

Samantha's only worry about allowing Endora to sit is Darrin's feelings about Endora's use of witchcraft in the house. Despite Endora's vow not to use witchcraft while sitting with Tabatha, Endora can't help herself when Gladys Kravitz comes over the show off her nephew Edgar, who is the same age as Tabatha but who Mrs. Kravitz states is far more advanced than Tabatha. So what Endora decides to do is allow Tabatha to speak, answering Mrs. Kravitz's question directly. Mrs. Kravitz calls in the press to cover the story, which shouldn't be an issue since Tabatha can't really speak, but Endora, who is angry at Darrin for berating her, makes Tabatha speak in front of the reporters. Beyond Samantha needing to convince Endora that what she did was wrong, they have to come up with a way to stop the story cold as their life has become a media circus since the story broke. více |

So when Samantha states that Endora doesn't ever get to see the fun side of Darrin, Endora, without telling either Darrin or Samantha, decides to split Darrin into two, the "stuffed shirt" side who will stay behind and work on the emergency account, and the "fun" side who will go the Florida with Samantha. Samantha eventually finds out about what Endora has done, but goes ahead with Endora's plan since she can't fight her mother's logic, especially when Endora convinces her that Darrin does need a vacation, even if it's only half of him that gets to experience it. What Samantha doesn't account for is that stuffed shirt Darrin may be a little too work focused even for his client, and that fun Darrin may be just a little too much fun to take on a continual basis. více |
